Highland students are into their art
Highland Elementary 3rd and 4th graders just finished a project inspried by Dale Chihuly. Dale Chihuly is an American artist who blows glass. Some of his work can be found at the bellagio hotel in Vegas and the Fredrick Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, MI. Elementary art instructer Amanda Loichinger bought a video for the kids to watch and introduce them to glass blowing.
The Highland students' art will be on display in the front of the school once we have a hook in place. The kids did a wonderful job on the project.
